Work in progress: Tales from the Isle of Purbeck MKAL

Clue three for the Tales from the Isle of Purbeck MKAL was released a week and a half-ish ago, and I’ve just finished up the clue. This is my first mystery knit a long, and it has been very satisfying.

I didn’t think I’d be able to acquire any of the recommended yarn in time, so instead I’m using the Rambouillet DK in Terracotta from Local Color Fiber Studio. The more I work with it, the more I love it. The texture suits the pattern well, and the slight color variation keeps my interest.

The skein I’m working with now has more color variations than the other two, and I love this! I’m sure I won’t be getting much use of a wool item, in the tropics, in summer, but I can’t wait to put it to good use.

Linking with Ginny.
