The Tales from the Isle of Purbeck MKAL project is finished, and I couldn’t be happier!

The pattern was easy to follow and well written, and the yarn was very enjoyable with which to knit. They complimented each other well.

I ordered three skeins and have the great majority of the third skein left over. One of the skeins was more variegated in color than the other two, which I love, so I used it as my second skein. In the pictures, you can see that the beginning is more solid, followed by a nice tonal variegation, and then the final few rows and border are more solid. I think it worked out well this way!

Looking at this picture – it’s not blocked wavy at the top! – My four year old laid it out for the pictures 🙂

Now that the shawl is complete, I’m looking for the next project…

Linking with Ginny.
