I recently finished two more baby sweaters. I will probably keep these for myself, seeing as how I only have a couple more weeks to go until we meet this little person!
Baby Surprise Jacket – This is a classic pattern, and I’ve wanted to try it for a while. It was an interesting knit, and definitely fun to see it come together. I used Noro Silk Garden Sock and with this weight, it knit up to about a 3-6 month size.
Hundreds Cardigan – I’m really in love with this pattern and yarn. The pattern is simple and really lends itself to a variety of colors and yarns. I think it would be beautiful with a variegated colorway as the secondary color. I used Malabrigo Silky Merino for both yarns, and they are as soft as can be. Of course, I had to add a hat to complete the look. 🙂
I just wanted to mention, as a side note, it’s been quite a challenge sourcing items locally here on the island. When I order items online, even though we’re part of the States and use the USPS system, a lot of companies will charge more for shipping, or not ship here at all. For the past several months, I’ve been ordering my yarn from Eat Sleep Knit, and have had nothing but excellent customer service and quick shipping with fair shipping prices, even all the way out here in the middle of the ocean. They’ve definitely helped satisfy my knitting itch!
